Studying abroad is a much sought-after aspiration. But in particular students of Evangelical Theology in Germany often have difficulties financing their studies abroad. The following pages are intended to highlight the opportunities provided by the Evangelical Church in Germany and only available in German language version.

Scholarships are a tried and tested instrument of development work based on partnership, and of theological education. The Evangelical Churches are implementing this insight among other things by offering Sur-Place-Programmes. We have compiled important information about this kind of programmes. Pages are partially only available in German. There is no possibility of application for these programmes!

Often Evangelical regional churches will maintain their own programmes alongside the general programmes offered by their agencies and institutions. These are reserved almost exclusively for their own students and pastors. Regarding information is only available in German language version.
